Jersey. An Update.

I have learned a few things over the last week.
Firstly, I would like to become a veterinarian.
Not only because they get to work with cute animals every day, but also because they get to charge you a ton of money to save your beloved pet baby.

Secondly, I have learned that y'all love me.
You really love me.....
....and Jersey the dog.

I cant tell you how many people have been asking how he is doing after his near death experience last week.

Consider this post your Jersey the Dog update.
You're welcome.

Jersey is alive and well. Too well actually.
What we thought was a fairly calm, cool and collected puppy was actually a sick puppy. Once he felt better, all hell broke loose and he is now trouble!

He chews my toes. Bites at my pant leg. Eats anything he finds on the floor.
He chases the cats. Barks at falling leaves. And enjoys putting his paws in his water bowl.

He is eating!
Amen Hallelujah!!!!!!!
I am sure he has put on 5 pounds in the last few days.

His poop soup has now turned into normal poop which makes me want to clap every time he has a movement.
Movement=poop.

He loves to play with flat balls because he can sink his teeth into them and run.
When he runs, he thinks it is funny to run into the horse pasture and not listen when I call him.
It`s not so funny when Ike the horse comes close though.
I almost had poop soup myself while trying to stop Ike from chasing the little creature at his feet.

So far his short three weeks at our home have been quite the soap opera.
First, coccidia
Then almost trampled by 2000 pound horse.
I swear my life needs to be videotaped.

Thank you for all of your concerns.
I did notice that no one offered to pay our vet bill though.

It`s OK.
I understand.
You're forgiven.
*smooches*

Get used to the chewing, shredding, hanging off your trousers, arms etc...that'll be the first year ;) So pleased to hear he's well enough to be the rascal all pups should be, he's gorgeous!

Look at that sweet face; how can you call him trouble? So glad to hear that he is doing better.

He's adorable and he DOES look like trouble. We had a kitten, rescued from a mall pet store window, with coccidia. After hundreds of dollars in vet fees, we often said we should keep him displayed under a glass dome. He was a sweetie, though, and lived a long, happy life.

I'm so so glad he's better!! He's freakin adorable.
When I got my kitten Matilda I thought I'd scored with a quiet snugly baby. Soon found out she was a sick baby. Kidney failure in fact. Thankfully the vets worked those magic and like Jersey she did a 180! Trouble with a capital T!
Good thing they are so dang cute and lovable!

And damn, he sure is cute.

So glad you've got Jersey back on his paws. I've got another vet visit this week for Sioux. It never ends with these German Shepherds.

Cute photos!
