Tiny Dancer

As I sat in the large open room waiting to photograph my girl during her dance class, I found myself getting teary-eyed.

Because I am the mother of a little girl who loves to dance.

Because my little girl listens....and follows directions...and does her best while smiling ear to ear.

Because my little girl isn't so little anymore.

Because my little girl isn't much younger than those beauties who lost their lives in Connecticut.

Because my little girl is my life.

And I couldn't imagine my life without her in it.

I am a lucky Momma.
And I count my blessings every day.

Crying again. I still can't believe it. Things like this shouldn't happen. Give her an extra hug from me. x

Beautiful words and photos to go with it. My heart is breaking too. I feel a little guilty that I can still watch my children grow while so many mothers have had to bury their own. :(

Thanks so much for stopping by, Vikki. Hope you're doing well.

The hiney shot just about did me in. The epitome of sweet little babies. I'm still in shock over the whole thing and haven't been able to write one single thing on my blog or on FB. I think it hit to close to home for me because I was in a kinder class when it happened and the first reports that it was kinder children. Devastated.

My first time commenting. Your beautiful post brought the tears out again. My husband and I had the same feelings as we watched our daughters elementary school Christmas concert today.

What a beautiful little girl you have. Every day with our littles is a gift. Thanking God for my girls and praying for those parents in Sandy Hook with a very heavy heart. Beautiful words and photos.
