A Revealing Interview with my Kids

These handsome boys are my kids.
I know. I look too young to have children this old.
Would you believe me if I told you I was 13 when I had my first child?
Didnt think so.
I am the mother of a child in Grade 2 and a child in Senior Kindergarten.
How did this happen?
Instead of drinking myself into a coma over the fact that my children are growing up, I decided to be a bit more productive.
So I interviewed them.

This is Messy. He is in Grade 2. He likes to pose for pictures. Can you tell?

Favourite Colour- pumpkin colour

Favourite Food- chicken wings

Favourite Animal- little dogs

Favourite TV show- Fairly Odd Parents

Favourite Toy- small Bobcat (not the animal, the machine)

What do you want to be when you grow up? A landscape worker

What do you want to learn in Grade 2? Bird stuff

Who is your best friend? My sister

What is your favourite thing to do? Drive the lawnmower tractor

Who do you love the most in the whole entire world? (I secretly knew he was going to say "Mommy") "My sister". *gasp* What about your mother? "Umm.....nope".

This is Rowdy. He is in SK. He also likes to pose for pictures.

Fave colour?- light blue

Food?- broccoli, poutine, ribs.

Animal?- elephant

TV Show?- Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show

Toy?- My dirt bike

What do you want to be when you grow up? I dont want to be anything.

What do you want to learn in SK? Math. How to play.

Best friend? My girlfriend.

Favourite thing to do? Kiss my girlfriend.

Who do you love the most in the whole entire world? My girlfriend.

It's a good thing I love them so much. Because now knowing that Mommy is not the person they love most makes me want to cry.

Or eat chocolate.

One day they will tell me how great I am.

And I will finally feel like they appreciate everything I have done for them.

In the meantime, I will continue to allow my world to revolve around them.
Because I love them more than anything else in the world.

Awwww! Your boys are adorable! And what a great idea to do the little mini interview! I might steal that one from you... ;)

What's the difference between 'Kindergarten' and 'Senior Kindergarten'?

Your last 2 sentences? Priceless...and I can relate! :)

Happy WW! :)

My Shelby just started High School a couple of weeks ago! I don't think it has hit me that she is a Freshman! Your family is so sweet...give Studly a pat for me. He really is a good boy. Kristina

That interview was great, especially accompanied by the pictures. You'll have to do another one just like it every 5 years!!!!

I'd be a little worried about that girlfriend, if I were you!

I love how their answers reflect their different personalities. Your 5 year old is already a ladies man, isn't he? ;-) So cute!
