I know, I know. Its shocking, but it is very true and I am realizing this more and more as I get older and my children grow.
I mean, just in the month of February I learned alot of crap.
I learned that a humidifier in my bedroom is exactly what I need to stop my cough at night. I was convinced I was dying of some incurable lung disease, but, nope....it is just dry in the house.
I learned that Mother Nature is a big, fat bitch.
(not my picture, but I like it)
I learned that Rita dies in the TV show, Dexter and I couldn't sleep for days because I was so upset about it.
(this is Rita and Dexter)
I learned that my daughter can sing "Let it Go" 297539796734967496 times and still not be tired of it.
I learned that Ike and Duke will be the stars at the local Maple Syrup Festival in March. Go see them.....and the maple syrup stuff too.................
I learned that I still have MAJOR body image issues in a bathing suit and am now searching for a swimsuit that hides all my lumps and bumps. Help a girl out, will ya?
I also learned that taking my kids to an indoor water park is exhausting and takes me two days to recuperate.
I am a crotchety old lady with lumps and bumps and a nighttime cough.
My hubby is a lucky man.
Bring on March!
Mama Kat is cool

You sound like a lot of fun and someone I'd like to hang out with! And I'm with you on the bathing suit - Ugh! Thats the worst! I'm your newest follower. I'd love to have you come visit me at your blog!
My blog - ugh! ;)
I just finished watching all of the Dexter series a couple of weeks ago. What will I do now for indoor winter entertainment?
Stopping by from Mama Kats...
I am afraid to watch DEXTER... what if I like it? What kind of person does that make me...like a serial killer???
But then, what if I don't like it? Would that mean that there IS something wrong with me since everyone...and I mean everyone tells me how great it is...
But wait, those people are my daughter and son-in-law, my sister-in-law, my 18 yo son...OMG...now I'm afraid to have next month's family dinner...well, I can hide the knives and the power tools and the garden tools...right?
SO, now that you have me totally suspect of half my children...and wondering about the other 4...I'll read some other posts and try to get unscared before nightfall.
Thanks! and have a great day!

You have a great sense of humor. The swimsuit thing? I had issues back when I was 17 and my body was perfect. It is not possible to NOT have issues at 37 ... oh well.
Bring it on! Stopping by from mama kats kelley at the road goes ever ever on
I LOVE that snow picture. I agree with it 100% and we aren't even as cold as you.
Oh my gosh, the middle finger to winter picture cracked me up! YES. Also...re: Dexter. I watched it when it was on TV and I always used to bitch about how much I hated Rita. Imagine how I felt after THAT season finale? #guilt
If you like Dexter, you will probably enjoy True Detective. It's certainly kept me thinking over the winter!
I try not to think about swimsuits. Ever. But my skin is so white that I can be seen from space, so there's that.
Hoping your March is full of adventure...without having to get in a bathing suit, of course!
You guys were busy! I'm glad you escaped the snow for some waterpark fun, but I agree...The Great Wolf Lodge is like Vegas for kids.
