Oh, hi there.
Remember I told you I was going to talk about my short road trip to Niagara Falls?
Apparently, I am 93 and have completely lost my memory.
And sanity.
And bladder control.
I blame my children for it all.
Brats.
During this very short road trip, my mom and I took the brats to the Butterfly Conservatory.Don't they look excited??????

Not because it was something they were begging to do, but because I enjoy butterflies and was determined to have them all land on my head.
It would totally be worth the price of admission if I could walk around with a pretty blue butterfly resting his/her wings on the top of my frizzy melon, don't ya think?

Knowing my luck though, the things would mistake my frizzy mess of a hairdo for the perfect place to make a home and I wouldn't notice there was an entire family living in there until I got home.

But it would be funny, wouldn't it?7

It didn't happen.
Not one of the buggers landed on any of us, even though we rubbed our fingers with orange slices and stood like idiots with our arms out, waiting.

And the boys hated it.
Every frickin second we were there, I heard "This is boring"
or
"This is the worst place ever."
or
"Are we done now?"
or
"Never bring us here again."

Shall I go on?

But I enjoyed it.
And sometimes us Mommas need to do something that we want to do, even though no one else does.
Its a wonderful place and I highly recommend going.
Just leave your boys at home.Or promise to let them climb trees after looking at the pretty butterflies.

One tip though........bathe in a scent butterflies enjoy so you can take some home.
Joking.
Take it easy.
Don't call the Butterfly Police on me. Do you enjoy butterflies?Has one ever landed on your head? What scent do they love so I can bathe in it?
